Mega Petrochemical Complex – Master Planning, Paradip, Odisha
Petrochemical Master Planning — 900 Acres. One Vision.
Petrochemical master planning brings together process facilities, utilities, infrastructure, logistics and the built environment into one coordinated industrial ecosystem.
TakViksh undertook the integrated master planning of a mega petrochemical complex at Paradip for Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), covering approximately 900 acres of industrial development.
The master plan integrated multiple petrochemical process units, utility systems, offsites, infrastructure networks, railway siding, loading and unloading facilities, and associated logistics. Architectural planning and landscaping added another dimension, bringing visual coherence and a considered approach to the wider industrial environment.
Industrial Master Planning Beyond Process Facilities
A mega petrochemical complex is more than a collection of process units. Its success depends on how facilities connect, how materials move, how infrastructure is coordinated and how the site accommodates future development.
TakViksh approaches industrial master planning by considering these interconnected requirements as part of one overall vision.
Engineering the Industrial Ecosystem
The planning framework brought together process areas, utilities, offsites and supporting infrastructure to establish a coordinated industrial layout.
Integrated Logistics and Infrastructure
Road networks, railway infrastructure, loading and unloading areas, and material movement corridors formed part of the overall planning strategy.
Architecture and Landscape
Architectural considerations and landscape planning complemented the industrial layout, helping establish a consistent visual identity and a more organised industrial environment.
Planning for Future Growth
The overall master plan considered long-term development requirements and the need to accommodate future expansion within the wider site framework.
900 Acres. One Vision.
One integrated master plan connecting process, utilities, infrastructure, logistics, architecture and landscape.
TakViksh brings together multidisciplinary engineering and planning capabilities to shape complex industrial developments with a focus on functional coordination, spatial organisation, visual coherence and long-term development potential.
